Singapore Haul

A couple of months ago, I was in Singapore for a business trip. I was able to squeeze in a quick shopping trip to Watsons and Sephora (two of my favorite stops in Singapore) and bought a bunch of makeup products to take home. Most of these products are not available in the Philippines except for the Benefit and the Dior products which are the only high end items I bought; the rest are "drugstore" items from Watsons as seen below.

Apologies for the glare in the photos, the lighting in my room is terrible and I had to make do with using the flash on my iPhone. I'll try to take better pictures next time. Anyway, here's a quick run through of my Singapore haul...

Benefit Porefessional
While I was aimlessly wandering through the aisles of Sephora, the store attendant stopped me and offered to demonstrate Benefit's Porefessional on the skin on my arm. She didn't have to say much, as soon as she showed me how the product worked, I was sold! My skin felt so smooth and flawless after applying the product that I couldn't resist from buying this. I got the set that included sample sizes of Erase Paste (concealer) and Girl Meets Pearl (highlighter), both equally awesome products.

Benefit Pocket Pal
I've heard awesome things about the cult favorite Benetint so I decided to get this more travel friendly version. It also has a lip gloss on the other side to top off your lips.

Dior Addict Lip Glow
This is basically a lip balm with the faintest hint of pink. According to this product's description, this moisturizing balm adjusts to the color chemistry of your lips to create a customized shade that's just for you. I'm not absolutely sure about their claim of "adjusting tot he color chemistry of my lips" and "creating a customized shade that's just for me" but, nevertheless, I've heard good reviews about the moisturizing properties of this lip balm.

Peripera Lipsticks
Peripera is a Korean brand that I have been quite curious for some time now. When I found a few products from this brand at Watsons, I decided to give these a go... I bought one coral shade and one pink shade.  I swatched these at the store and they looked like they were very creamy and hydrating. Check out the super pretty packaging of these lipsticks! (Photo below shows Peripera Lipsticks with Dior Addict Lip Glow)

Za Cosmetics Mascaras
I've had good experience with Za Cosmetics so I decided to try their mascaras. I got two different types: a lengthening formula and a volumizing formula. Their lengthening mascara comes with a lash base with fibers as seen below.

On the other hand, the volumizing mascara came with eye makeup remover as seen below. Not a bad deal!

Maybelline Jelly Glow Blush
This oddly seems very similar to Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush. These two blushes have the same pliable, mousy texture. Perhaps this Jelly Glow Blush is a repackaged version of the Dream Bouncy Blush? I bought the shade Pure Orange, which is a peachy, orangey, coral shade.

I can't wait to try everything I bought! If there is anything there that you would want to see reviewed, let me know by commenting below. Bye bye for now!
