Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks Review

I bought two new Avon lipsticks care of our local Avon lady in the office. I think both were under promotion so I got each for just PHP199.00. I got these in the shades M10 Amour Rose (left) and C301 Pink Peach (right). I love light, natural shades and I think that both are really pretty shades.

They come in standard packaging, which is shrink wrapped, with the color and ingredients indicated on the outside.

I didn't find any parabens in the list of ingredients which is definitely a good thing. It turns out that Avon has an official statement regarding the use of parabens in its products:
Starting in 2002, Avon began eliminating parabens from some of our products where there are safe alternatives. Today, these paraben-free products include lip products; women's body care; antiperspirants and deodorants; and children's products.
Beginning in 2006, Avon made the decision to develop new products without using isobutyl and isopropyl parabens. In 2010, Avon made the decision to no longer use propyl and butyl parabens in new product development.
Yay, for companies doing the right thing!

The texture of these lipsticks is very smooth and moisturizing. They feel light on the lips and do not make my lips peel or feel dry hours after application.

M10 Amour Rose (left) is a very wearable light pink. It applies a bit sheer and has tiny shimmer particles, which are almost unnoticeable on the lips.

C301 Pink Peach (right) as its name suggests, is a peachy pink nude shade. It kinda reminds me of Shu Uemura's Rouge Unlimited lipstick (BG 932) both in color and in texture. The only difference is the shimmer particles of the Avon lipstick are slightly chunkier than those of the Shu Uemura.

I have previously reviewed the Ultra Color Rich Mega Impact Lipstick and I've been generally impressed with the quality of Avon lipsticks. The Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks are no different. I find them to be of good quality and very affordable.
