Estee Lauder Pure Color Sensuous Rouge Lip Color Review

I was attracted to this lipstick because of its beautiful packaging. I think it has one of the prettiest looking lipstick tubes I've ever seen (a tie with the YSL Rouge Volupte). As seen below, it comes in a slim tube with the Estee Lauder logo etched in gold, similar to other lipsticks in the Pure Color range.

Hourglass is banking on the success of their Ambient Lighting Powders and releasing these Ambient Lighting Blushes this Spring 2014. Unfortunately, I am not aware of Hourglass being sold retail here in the Philippines. These will be released on February 2014 in the US and will be sold for USD34.00.

NYX Butter Gloss Review

I must admit that l am definitely not a lip gloss person.  I usually prefer lipsticks and balms mainly because I dislike sticky formulas on my lips. However, I've heard great things about NYX's Butter Glosses and I am willing to make an exception and test these out. I bought two shades from SM Makati for PHP340 each.

Shu Uemura x Mika Ninagawa Collection for Spring 2014

Shu Uemura is known for releasing such cute limited edition collections. The Shu Uemura x Mika Ninagawa Collection for Spring 2014 is no exception. Mika Ninagawa is a well known photographer and film director from Japan and has already previously collaborated with Shu Uemura for a couple of past collections. This collection will be available in April 2014.

Post Holiday Haul: Guerlain, Shiseido, Chanel

I went a little bit overboard with my haul this weekend. I'm going to blame it on my year-long makeup hiatus. As I have mentioned on my latest wishlist, I haven't purchased any makeup for almost a year and was totally out of date when it came to cosmetics released from mid to late 2013. Everything I bought were released during this time, and I did my homework researching each product before committing to a purchase.
