Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in 668 Prim Rose Review

This is my second Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick.

I got this (for only PHP 450!) together with the Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in 002 Pink Pout which I reviewed in this post. Previous to these two, I have never used or even tried anything from this lipstick line. Actually, I was already familiar with this lipstick, since I've been seeing the design of this tube in the Revlon displays for several years now. This gave me the impression that this is an old and outdated Revlon lipstick formula. Instead of giving this a try, I was more drawn to the newer formulas like the Lip Butters or the Balm Stains.

Little did I know that by ignoring this lipstick line, I was missing out on a lot!

I tried this lipstick out because of a recommendation from another beauty blogger. I was surprised when I swatched it found out how smooth and pigmented the formula of this lipstick is. It wasn't drying on my lips either, and the color lasted a good four hours or so.

I picked up the shade Prim Rose, which is a very pretty light pink. It is a great alternative to a nude lipstick, if you want just a little pop of color without overpowering the rest of your face.

Compared to Pink Pout which has a matte finish, this one has a creme finish, which has a bit of shine to it. Below are swatches of the product on the back of my arm. The bottom swatch shows one swipe, while the top swatch shows multiple swipes to build the color.
