Post Holiday Haul: Guerlain, Shiseido, Chanel

I went a little bit overboard with my haul this weekend. I'm going to blame it on my year-long makeup hiatus. As I have mentioned on my latest wishlist, I haven't purchased any makeup for almost a year and was totally out of date when it came to cosmetics released from mid to late 2013. Everything I bought were released during this time, and I did my homework researching each product before committing to a purchase.

I bought the following products:

Guerlain's Rouge Automatiques from the Crazy Paris Collection: 660 Illusion and 661 Reflex (PHP1900 each)
Shiseido's Sheer and Perfect Foundation (PHP2200)
Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder (PHP2850)

Learn more about these products after the break!

Guerlain Rouge Automatiques from Crazy Paris Collection - I've already briefly talked about this in my last wishlist post. 660 Illusion is a semi-sheer shimmery plum while 661 Reflex is a semi-sheer neon pink. These lipsticks are known to have HG-worthy formulas. Guerlain's website describes it as a moisturizing and long lasting "it lipstick."

Shiseido's Sheer and Perfect Foundation - This is Shiseido's latest foundation concoction. It is an ultra-light and sheer foundation. According to Shiseido's website, this foundation has 3 types of optical powder complex that cancels out uneven complexions:
  • Green Powder cancels redness and blemishes
  • Blue Powder cancels dark spots and circles
  • White Powder cancels visible pores
I'm not sure about these claims but I never had a bad experience with Shiseido foundations. This is oil-free and has SPF18.

Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder - This powder was also included in my last wishlist post. As mentioned in their website, this powder provides a sheer and luminous finish and can be used as alone, as a finishing or setting powder for foundation, or as a bronzer. I decided to purchase the shade N40 to use as a bronzer to warm up and contour my face. I am tempted to purchase another one in N20 which I can use as a finishing powder but I'll hold this thought until I am positive that I am in love with this.

As I have previously mentioned, I am a sucker for beautiful packaging and I think all four products have very nice packaging indeed, don't you think?
