NYX Butter Gloss Review

I must admit that l am definitely not a lip gloss person.  I usually prefer lipsticks and balms mainly because I dislike sticky formulas on my lips. However, I've heard great things about NYX's Butter Glosses and I am willing to make an exception and test these out. I bought two shades from SM Makati for PHP340 each.

Merengue is a medium pink lilac shade as seen below.

Cherry Cheese Cake is a bright orange.

Both of these are incredibly smooth and buttery on the lips. Fortunately for me, they are not very sticky unlike other lip gloss formulas I've tried. They are quite pigmented for lip glosses and have a somewhat milky look on the lips.

 

I found that this remained feeling very smooth for a few hours and didn't dry out my lips even after hours of wear. This stayed on my lips for around 3 to 4 hours with drinking but no eating.

 

All in all, I am very impressed with this product even though I generally dislike lip glosses. I highly recommend this!
