Want fancy looking nails without the hassle? Yes? Then Etude's Mag Play Nails would be perfect for you. It's nail polish with magnetic particles that create patterns when subjected to a magnetic field. It comes in five colors as seen below.
I bought the blue one a couple of weeks ago at Etude's Eastwood branch. The nail polish costs PHP348.00 while the magnet costs around PHP150.00, bringing the total to around PHP 500.00 if bought together.

The instructions for using this are pretty straightforward:
- Paint one coat of the nail polish on your nails and let dry.
- Paint a second coat on one nail and immediately hover the magnet over your nail for about 15 to 20 seconds. The arrows on the magnet indicate what direction the stripes will be on your nail.
- Repeat on each nail.
- Applying a top coat is not advisable as it could smudge the design. If you must, apply with a very light hand to minimize smudging.
I think my first try using this polish wasn't too bad.
However, as seen below, I smudged the design a bit on my index finger nail when I applied a top coat. So be careful when applying your top coat or you could ruin the design!
All in all, I think this nail polish is easy to use and gives awesome-looking results.
