Mario Badescu Drying Lotion Review

This miracle product is described by its manufacturer as a "pimple healer." I've been curious about this product ever since I heard rave reviews about it from many YouTube beauty gurus and beauty bloggers. When I saw this in Rustan's Essences retailing for a little under P1100.00, I grabbed the opportunity and bought this tiny bottle of wonder. 

According to the Mario Badescu website, this product is an acne spot treatment that will shrink whiteheads "virtually overnight while you sleep." Its ingredients include the following: Isopropyl Alcohol, Deionized Water (Aqua), Calamine, Camphor, Colloidal Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Glycerine, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc

The following are the instructions for use according to the website:

HOW TO USE: Before bed, after cleansing, toning and moisturizing apply a dab of lotion directly on the whitehead using a cotton swab. Do not rub in. Let it dry and rinse off in the morning. DO NOT shake the bottle and apply only the pink sediment on the skin.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I must admit that it does quite a nice job of drying out my whiteheads. I do have to note that this product doesn't seem to work well on raw pimples. I found that this product would cause scabs to form over the pimple. Still, this is an amazingly simple product if you know how to use it and what to use it for. I highly recommend it!
