Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color Review

I've posted my drugstore shopping list awhile back and the first entry on this list are the Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Colors. They are super cheap (only $2 plus tax) but these lip gloss and lip stick hybrids are said to pack a colorful punch. I was in Los Angeles on a business trip two weeks ago and I dropped by a Rite Aid to check out the cheap cosmetics. Fortunately, they had a few of these on stock so I went ahead and purchased two.

I picked up a bright pink and neutral light brown. Here are swatches of the two shades on the back of my hand.

I love the texture of these lipsticks. They are creamy and smooth and they feel great on the lips when they are first applied. However, I noticed that they do feel a bit drier about an hour after application. The color does stay on your lips a couple of hours after the gloss wears off. 

My only gripe about this product is the packaging. Since the product is super cheap, the company had to cut corners somewhere and they decided to do so with the packaging. It is made of cheap plastic and the lipstick bullet doesn't retract completely. So you would have to be careful the first few times you use this lipstick because you're definitely going to ding the lipstick as you take out or replace the cap. Still, it's a pretty awesome product for this price. :-)
