November Glamourbox Unboxing and First Impression

The November Glamourbox is here!!! As mentioned in a previous post, I subscribed to Glamourbox, a monthly beauty sampling service. I opted for the quarterly subscription plan because of the additional 1800 bonus glamour points I'll be getting, which I could supposedly use for shopping at their online store.

It arrived just this morning in a Xend pouch.

So, I'll bet you want to see what's inside huh? Before anything else, I'd like to comment that the way they presented the box and its contents is very nice.

Similar to other boxes like Birchbox or Glossybox, the Glamourbox came with a welcome card with the contents of the box listed at the back.

There are a total of 8 samples inside the box, although I'm not sure if I should count the tiny fragrance samples separately. If I count the 4 fragrance samples as 1 sample the total will be just 5 samples:


Eye of Horus Mascara - This is the first time I've heard about this brand but I can't wait to try out this mascara. It's got a very nice plastic brush which I think might be good for gals with short lashes like mine. I especially like the fact that it is paraben free.

Shiseido Benefiance WrinkeResist24 Night Cream - Yay! I'm a big fan of Shiseido skin care products and I'm definitely going to give this night cream a try. This sample size will probably last me a good 2 weeks or so. I'm not sure though if I'll be willing to fork over PHP3250 for full size (50ml)!

Yves Rocher Slimming Action Concentrate - this is like one of those slimming lotions that claim to smoothen and tone skin. Hmmm, I'm not sure if this will work but nevertheless, I'm willing to give it a try. If it does work and I want to buy the full size, PHP1190 for 150ml is a pretty decent price for this. Plus there's a coupon in the box for PHP200 off for every PHP1000 purchase.

Ofra Cosmetics Lipstick Palette - Wow, a full sized lipstick palette! This is the first time that I've heard about this brand but I'm willing to give these lipsticks a try. There are 8 shades included, including one that looks to be a gloss or balm. The mirror and lip brush will definitely make application a breeze.

Fragrance samples - I don't normally wear perfume or anything of the sort on a daily basis, so these samples will probably be given to a friend or my sister. These samples come in tiny spray bottles, which are way better than those samples with dipsticks.

All in all, I think the November Glamourbox is great. I think all products featured in the box are high-end and the samples are definitely worth the monthly subscription. I'm definitely looking forward for future boxes to arrive. ^_^
