Recommended YouTube Beauty Gurus

I must admit that I started my makeup addiction from watching beauty gurus on YouTube. I started passively watching these tutorial and review videos during my free time. Now, I am subscribed to probably more than 60 YouTube channels and I've gotten the habit of checking for new uploads daily. Despite this, I have a few favorite YouTube channels that I can recommend to anyone who wants to get started watching.

1. Beauty Broadcast (with emilynoel83) - Emily is a news anchor is the US (which is why her channel is called Beauty Broadcast). She is not a makeup artist but her experience with applying makeup on herself everyday makes her somewhat an expert on the topic. I like her videos because her delivery is always professional (unlike other gurus who just blabber endlessly). She gives great advice on which drugstore products are worth buying and which are a waste of money.
   
   


2. GossMakeupArtist - he is a British makeup artist (a good looking one at that!) that regularly posts videos on YouTube. He gives great tips, tutorials and reviews, and his videos are always concise and straight to the point. He uses both drugstore and high end makeup on his videos.
   
   
3. Xteeener - she's an American makeup artist. I like her because she has great makeup tutorials that are so wearable for me because we have almost the same eye shape and skin color. She uses both drugstore and high end makeup on her videos and she doesn't show any preference for either.
   
   

This is only the tip of the iceberg. There are many more great beauty channels on YouTube. I recommend you start by searching for reviews of beauty products you are interested in and explore channels from there. Have fun!
