Wishlist Series: New 2014 beauty buys

I started this wishlist series over a year ago with this post: Wishlist Series: Version 1.0. I've since purchased everything in that wishlist but I never got to update this due to my makeup and blogging hiatus. Anyway, after almost a year of not purchasing any cosmetics (the horror!!!) I have discovered how terribly out of date I am when it comes to new product releases. So I've come up with an updated wishlist of new beauty buys from both low end and high end brands.

NYX Butter Lipsticks - these were just released in the US this January but they've already caught the eyes of many beauty bloggers. According to reviews, these lipsticks are quite pigmented and have a smooth and creamy texture. They come in really pretty colors and they're only $6.00! Guerlain Rouge Automatiques from Crazy Paris Collection - I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging, especially those that are specially designed for a collection. Add to that the fact that Rouge Automatiques have one of the best lightweight lipstick formulas, plus these beautiful limited edition colors and I'm sold! These are from Guerlain's 2013 Holiday Collection and I am eagerly waiting for the day these will be finally released here in the Philippines.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder - I'm on the hunt for a lightweight powder that is suitable for combination to dry skin. This just might fit the bill! This can be used alone for an effortless look or on top of foundation as a setting powder. This was released a couple of months ago in the US but I haven't had a chance to see if our local Chanel counter already has this. The shade range is a bit limited (there are only 5 shades as far as I know) but I hope it won't be difficult to find a match for my NC20 skin.
