L'Oreal Colour Caresse Colour Riche Lipcolor Haul and Review

Man, these lipsticks have such long names! Anyway, I got these at the Rite Aid near my hotel during my holiday in Orlando. They were having a buy one get one 50% off promo so I snatched every color available that looked nice to me at the time (I was in a hurry and there were no samples to swatch). They retailed for $8.99 during that time and bought 4 lipsticks.

I'm not sure if these are already available in the Philippines though. I haven't seen these in our local drugstores yet, but I'm sure they'll be available soon. These lipsticks are just too good to keep from us! Check out the product description from their website below:

My initial observation is that these products have a texture and pigmentation similar to the Revlon Lip Butters. They're smooth, super moisturizing, with sheer to moderate pigmentation. However, after application, I noticed that these definitely feel lighter and less sticky on the lips, unlike the Lip Butters that feel somewhat "balmy". With the Colour Caresse lipsticks, I feel like I don't have lipstick on. It's hard to explain... it's something you'll have to try yourself to understand.

As mentioned above, there are 16 colors available, and I have 4 right now:

Cotton Pink is a warm, bright pink. 

Rose Taffeta is a nude with a hint of warm pink

Sunset Angora is a pinkish orange, like a dark salmon color

Merino Mauve is a very light cool pink

As seen in the swatches above, these lipsticks have a glossy finish but they do not contain any shimmer.

If you love the popular Revlon Lip Butters, chances are you'll love these as well. Even if you don't like the Revlon Lip Butters, I suggest you give these a try anyways. These are great lipsticks for every day wear. I highly recommend them!
