Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick Review

Finding the perfect lipstick is very important for me. There are three main things that I look for in a lipstick:  shine, pigmentation, and staying power. I like having shiny lips but I don't normally use lip gloss because I don’t like the sticky feeling I get with lip gloss on my lips. I also find that using a lip gloss wand is a little unhygienic. On the other hand, although most lipsticks look good right after application, some lipsticks may cause dry or chapped lips once the color has faded away.

I think my Dior Addict Lipstick is so far the best hydrating lipstick that I have ever used.

The color I have is number 554 (It Pink) which is a bright, medium pink color.

Every time I use this lipstick, my lips feel smoother and more moisturized. In terms of the shine factor, this lipstick is pretty good and it doesn't have the stickiness of lip glosses that I hate. It is a bit sheer but the formula is buildable and becomes more opaque after a few swipes. However, since this is hydrating formula, its staying power is not as good as matte formulas. This normally stays on my lips for around 2-3 hours without eating or drinking.

Unfortunately, the Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick is quite expensive. The last time I checked, it is available at Rustan's for around P1700 each. So be sure to pick the right color before purchasing one.
